The 5980 Series are electromechanical universal testing systems for demanding high-force applications up to 600 kN, covering tensile, compression, bend, peel, shear, tear, creep and cyclic tests. The rigid frame with pre-loaded bearings, precision ball screws, a thick crosshead and low-stretch drive belts is designed for high-strength metals and alloys, composites, bolts and plate steel and gives more accurate modulus and strain values.
