The impact area of Instron drop-weight testers is extremely flexible: it allows low- and high-temperature puncture, compression after impact (CAI), wedge-peel, tensile impact, Charpy and Izod tests to ASTM, ISO and industry standards (AITM, automotive and more). Available are the standard room-temperature base (700 × 720 × 570 mm), a large base (1,200 × 730 × 745 mm), a large base with extractable conditioning chamber and a standard conditioning chamber (550 × 550 × 500 mm).
