Taber Reciprocating Abraser 5900

Model 5900 has a counterbalanced arm on an adjustable-height gantry, which allows an exact test load regardless of the weight of the attachment, and a sliding specimen platform that reciprocates under the stationary tool holder. Stroke, speed and load are adjustable; with attachments it evaluates wear, rub, scratch, gouge and scrape. Supplied with the Wearaser collet with CS-10 and H-18 abradants and weights; two additional test arms can be added (up to three simultaneous tests).
